The Whidbey Adventure Swim (WAS) will be held on September 8th . Options include a 1.2-mile or 2.4-mile swim in Saratoga Passage off the shores of Langley, Washington.  These swims are not for the inexperienced. Also the 1.2-mile entrants are expected to be able to swim the first .6 mile lap in under 30 minutes and 2.4 entrants are expected to swim the first 1.2 in under 50 minutes.  Entrants must be USMS members or pay a one day membership. Wetsuits will be required for safety reasons. The swim will begin at 10:00 a.m., with check-in at 8:30 a.m. and a mandatory pre-race meeting at 9:30 a.m.  For more information, please email info@swhidbey.org.
